What do markings do in pokemon




















Pink markings are often used to indicate IVs of 0. A new feature in Pokemon Sword and Shield is the ability to obtain Pokemon with marks.

Marks have a similar effect to ribbons in that they append a title to a Pokemon. If the Pokemon has a mark, its title will be called out when it is sent into battle. I didn't come across such marks, but I might have seen similar ones in previous versions. Pink could be pokerus for instance. Jutschge The blue pentagon signifies it is a certified pokemon and not brought in via cheating. This is not right. The blue pentagon means that that the pokemon was obtained ingame.

It hasn't been certified or something.
